How WaveChat works

Tap Sign in at the top of the page or open the signup screen. You can register with email & password or with Google (faster — 1 tap).

• Pick a unique @username — that's how friends will find you.
• Set a display name and a nice profile photo.
• Done! You go straight into your conversations.

WaveChat is much better with friends inside. There are 3 easy ways to invite them:

1. Share your @username via messaging or SMS. Your friend opens WaveChat, searches by @ and starts chatting.
2. Share the website link: webconnectchat.com — anyone can create an account in seconds.
3. New chat: inside the app, tap the new chat button and search by @ or name.

Tap the new chat icon, look up your friend by @ or name and start typing. You can send:

• Text with emoji and clickable links (with preview).
• Photos, videos, audio and documents.
• Voice messages (hold the microphone button).
• Forwarding and replying to specific messages.

Want to save media? Tap the photo or video and use the download button.

Groups are great for family, work, classmates or friends.

1. Tap New group.
2. Pick a name and photo.
3. Select members (search by @ or name).
4. Done! Everyone receives the chat immediately.

As an admin you can add/remove members, change name, photo and settings in the group options.

From any conversation, tap the phone icon for an audio call or the camera icon for video.

• The phone rings even when the app is closed.
• During the call: mute, speaker, switch camera and hang up.
• Works on Wi-Fi and 4G/5G.

Status is a “moment of the day” that your contacts see for 24 hours and then disappears.

1. On the main screen, tap Add status.
2. Choose a photo, video or text with colored background.
3. Post. Done, it's live.

You can see who viewed your status on the status screen itself.

Want more people beyond your contacts to see your status? Use boosting.

1. Post your status normally.
2. Tap Boost in the status options.
3. Choose the boost size (higher reach = more views).
4. Pay securely and the boost starts in seconds.

Great for promoting business, events, sales or personal content. Track performance in Boost history on your profile.

From any conversation, tap the AI ✨ icon to get real-time help:

• Translate a message in any language.
• Suggest a reply when you're stuck.
• Improve your text (formal, friendly, short, fun).
• Summarize a long conversation in a few bullets.

Inside a conversation, tap Send payment. Enter the amount, choose your bank and finish in a semi-automatic, secure flow.

• Great for splitting a bill, paying a friend or getting paid quickly.
• The receipt stays in the conversation.
• WaveChat never stores your banking password.

To avoid missing messages and calls, allow notifications the first time the app asks. Adjust everything in Profile → Notifications:

• Message and call sounds (custom ringtone).
• Vibration, badge on icon and muting specific chats.

WaveChat works like a real app, with an icon on your home screen:

• Android (Chrome): tap “Install app” when prompted, or in the ⋮ menu → Install app.
• iPhone (Safari): tap share → Add to Home Screen.

Your conversations are protected and we never sell your data. You can delete your account anytime in Profile → Account. Privacy Policy · Terms of Use.
